I am a proud resident of Edmonton Southeast, a community that I deeply care about. As a mother, a professional with extensive experience in IT and leadership, and someone who has always been driven by a commitment to serve others, I’ve decided to run as an independent candidate because I believe we need a fresh approach in Ottawa—one that prioritizes real solutions for the people. I understand the daily challenges Canadians face, and as a leader, I am driven to create a better future for our community. I’m stepping forward to represent you, to listen to your concerns, and to work together for a stronger, safer, and more prosperous future.
Why I’m Running
My goal is simple: to make everyday life easier for Canadians. I’m not bound by party lines or internal politics, so I can dedicate myself 100% to the needs of our community. Canada is facing serious challenges, and now is the time for real change.
Our children deserve a safer environment. Our communities deserve more affordable services, and Canadians deserve better access to healthcare and technology. But improving everyday life goes beyond just making things easier—it’s also about strengthening our economy and creating more job opportunities. When we invest in better services, safer communities, and accessible resources, we’re not only improving lives, but we’re also building a stronger, more stable economy for everyone.
My Vision for Edmonton Southeast and Canada
1. Public Safety First: We need to make Canada safer, so people can go about their daily activities without fear. Whether it's riding the bus, standing at a bus station, or sending children to a health center without the worry of exposure to drugs or violence, safety must be our top priority. As your independent representative, I will actively push for public safety measures, including technology-based solutions, and work to strengthen law enforcement. At the same time, I will focus on addressing the root causes of crime, such as drug addiction and mental health challenges, to create safer communities for everyone.
2. Accessible and Affordable Healthcare: Doctors, not delays “PERIOD”. No Canadian should have to wait hours for the care they need. As your MP for Edmonton Southeast, I will work to quickly increase the number of healthcare providers and facilities. I will also push for solutions that reduce the strain on healthcare workers and ensure every Canadian has access to the care they deserve, regardless of where they live.
3. Affordability: From rising grocery bills to unaffordable housing and essential services, families are feeling the pressure. I believe technology and policy can work together to deliver smarter, more cost-effective public services. I will advocate for innovative solutions that drive down costs—from telecom to transportation—by opening markets to competition, supporting local businesses, and modernizing infrastructure.
Whether it's reducing your phone bill, improving transit, or making housing more accessible, I’m committed to finding practical, forward-thinking ways to ease the financial burden on Canadians and strengthen our local economy.
4. Protecting Your Taxpayer Dollars: The current government wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on projects that could have been done more efficiently. For example, the ARRIVECAN app cost over $60 million to develop, while a duplicate was created in just two days for only $250,000 through a competition. As someone with an IT background, I know this app could have been built and implemented for less than $100,000, saving taxpayers millions. This is just one instance that came to light, but there are surely many more. If elected, I will fight to ensure that your hard-earned tax dollars are spent wisely—on reasonable causes, at reasonable prices. We deserve a government that spends our money responsibly and ensures every dollar counts.
Transforming Edmonton into a Thriving Business & Tech Hub"
One of the key reasons I am running is because Edmonton needs to grow. I envision a future where Edmonton is not just a great place to live, but a vibrant tech hub attracting global giants like Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn. We need more data centers, innovation districts, and tech ecosystems that foster the next generation of startups and industry leaders. By investing in infrastructure, supporting emerging technologies, and fostering a culture of innovation, we can make Edmonton a top destination for businesses, talent, and investment. As your representative, I will work tirelessly to make this vision a reality and ensure that our city becomes a global leader in the digital economy,
